Herald Temp announced

On the 31st December GreekAmerican was named the Herald Temp of the Rucket Memorial Park. Minister of Foreign Affairs and ex-Herald of the Rucket Memorial Park he has been made the herald even after being booted from the job. Arriving in a carriage he wore a jester hat just to finish off the mocking of the people who had got rid of him. Welcomed by trumpeteers he accepted the job and ppeople are expecting him to go for his old job as Herald of the Rucket Memorial Park. This contraversial time for the Rucket Memorial Park may spark interest on the forums.

December Business Updates

Because of the Bill on Market Rights new businenesses have been created by AP3 10, Neanbear and Liberty987. In a press conference AP3 10 has announced the start of a new business "Conversion House" Leaf Telegraph reports. In other news on the developement of new fundamentle businesses being formed in AWP is the "Royal Bank of Liberty". A sort of dedication for himself Liberty has founded the bank to secure financial loans, economic advice and investment into new and upcoming businesses. This has caused a surge in the AWP market and this is not all the new businesses. "Quantum Gambling Corparation" was started by Neanbear on the 14th December 2008 however in the press conference this has caused slight mistrust. Liberty987 says that the idea of Quantum origanated from his proposal of Leaf Betting Corp. which he put an application for however delayed the actual handing in of the form and then cancelled it in December. He says he will take no action but claims that this was not the first time it happened. Liberty has been in AWP for just over 4 months now.

New businesses haven't been the onbly stimulant in the market in December, which has proved to be a major month for the growth of the market. The Bill on Market Rights has meant that the founding of new companies has been majorly incresing, a minister in the senate said "The stimulant of the bill has acted like a drug on the market, so many businesses have started up and the waiting queue would haave been so long I would still be voting on them". This has been a major change in the growth of the economy and so we will be whatching this for a long time.

Another change in the market for December was the reprinting of Leaf Telegraph. The Leaf chain and brand has carried on the printting of the company is starting to re run on the forum on 31st December 2008 right before the New Year with the realease of the first Leaf Publication. The book, written by Liberty987, is a look back at the history of AWP, "A World Power; A Rise to Fame". This is set to be the first publication branded and marketed by Leaf Telegraph, starting there series the biography of AWP is se tot include people like Rucket, Neasmyrna, GreekAmerican and others who have mnade a change to AWP include 1000 Islands and TheTrueRevolution.

Protection of Market Rights Passed

The Protection for Market Rights Bill was passed on the 14th of December with all ministers and senators voting AYE for the bill. The Bill posed that people in AWP could open up businesses without the senate needing to pass it in the middle. "This is a stimulant for the economic growth in AWP" said a minister "Yes, it will move forward how we can get the economy grown". It will also mean that for people who do not reside in AWP they can still open businesses and purchase shares in other businesses. It has also some implications that means that it will leave businesses more independant and private from government law.

It was brought up by Numero Capitan, Minister of Defence, and now it means that the laws on the market are lax and less intervening. It will mean that foreign members on the forums, which is a great number as there are over 300 more accounts on the forums than that of which are AWP members and this will lead to 300 more people able to open and get involved into the market.

Chapter 12

Rucket

Rucket* is remembored now as a revolusionist. His memory is still around with the "Rucket Memorial Park", and he is known by those who have only recently joined AWP. "A respected and well known member of the AWP community in May 2008" were some of the words AP3 10 remembered him as in the memorial to him in the "Rucket Memorial Park"**. He was recruited by "Jess0rz" who sadly has never gained credit for it and she is unfortunately not greatly remebered on a large scale by the AWP community, figures such as Rucket have overshadowed them in time and they have not gained recognition for them.

During his time on NationStates he was a co-founder of the AWP RDF (A World Power Regional Defence Force)***. The RDF recently passed it's 200th mission and Rucket was the main builder of it in it's early stages, Neas and Death or Life were the main people who helped with the building of the RDF both of whom still play NationStates and are key members in the AWP community, however Death or Life left NationStates for a breif period until reterning in about October 2008. He was a key part in the "Updater Age" where he managed to get a dozen nations to enter a region in a matter of two or three minutes, everything being done precisly and accurately.

Rucket was made an administrator of the forum, the only one of two people (other being Biain the First to be made an administrator) apart from Neasmyrna. He helped shape the forums and made drastic changes to the forums, posting over 3000 non spam posts in the space of two months, approxametly 50 a day, and this meant he has been greatly remembered in the AWP community.

These could be said to be the things that lead to him being so remembered in the AWP cimmunity when it has been over a year since he left. Maybe one of the major things that have led to his legacy is the fact that he Disappeared without retuning and so abruptly, many hope that he is still in the community today under a different name. He left the game while on a mission and this can say a lot about him, he dissapeared while he was on a mission for the thing that he had spent so long to build, the RDF . He was in the Rejected Realms at the time he left the game.

Not many people are remembered in the game. Rucket is one of few and we can say that maybe it is legacys like his that block out other notable characters like Jess0rz who recruited him. He was a key character in AWPs Rise to Fame.

A World Power Awards Ceremony

The awards, hosted by Greek, were a big show as AWPs biggest names lined up for front row seats. Lord Tothe controlled the election as the worlds biggest names, leaders and celebrities came to see who was hot and who was not. Jonathan Bibo, ex-primeminister of Liberty987, said that "It is a shame that I never got to go to see one as primeminister, [[Leonard]] Demonge must be proud at the succes of his nation", Liberty managed to gain 2 1/2 awards however some speculators are saying that they are seeing their success through "rose tinted glasses". It is said that Liberty tried to rig the vote by giving "money" to nations in AWP, the truth and liability of these accusations are very untrustworthy and they may just be "sour grapes".

Lord Tothe gained the most points being .5 above Liberty987 in the tables. Him and Liberty dominated the tables gaining a total of 50% put together. Prissy Patella, a Tothe cdelebrity, was caught saying "It was all my work to win this", this may cause hatred but the end of 2008 awards, in the capital of AWP, Neasville, there are still parties going on where Greek has been applauded for doing the best awards so far. The crowd of reporters, notably from AWP Inquirer and Leaf Telegraph had a lot of questions to nations however few got awnsers, this is said to be a great awards for AWP.

Leaf Telegraph Reprints

On Monday (22/12) Liberty987 announced that the Leaf Telegraph was to reprint articles by February. He announced as well that there was to be further additions, including a written account of A World Power. "After a long refurbishment new ideas have risen and I have decided that it is time to restart the printing of Leaf Telegraph, I will be including a blog for Leaf Telegraph and I hope that this can be the start of a reprint of the newspaper", this was the reaction he had while being attacked by a crowd of reporters, "I want to say that if the book goes well then I may be transferring the entire Leaf Telegraph to blogging but I want to keep a weekly or bi-weekly full newspaper, a blog isn't the same as a good, well written newspaper". This could be said to be the restart of a good newspaper and may lead to the redo of Leaf.
